Missed Appointments And Cancellations
24 hours notice is required for appointment cancellations. You will be billed if you do not show for an appointment or fail to give adequate notice.
Appointments
We do our best to see you as close to your scheduled time as possible. To help us achieve this we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for regular appointments and 15 minutes early for physicals. We reserve some time each day to see patients with urgent concerns. Please call the office as early as possible if you feel you need to be seen that day. Other appointments should be booked in advance.
Medication Renewals
Please ensure you book at least 2 weeks before you will run out of your regular medications. Medication renewals are best done by appointment as this allows for follow-up of the condition for which they were prescribed. We are often booking about 2 months in advance for these elective appointments.
Email
We are now sending appointment reminders via email. And from time to time it may be appropriate for us to contact you via email for other reasons. For example, to let you know that results have been received and need to be reviewed or even to send you a requisition for a repeat test if it is necessary. If you would like for us to be able to communicate with you in this way please read and complete the Email Consent Form.
Services Not Covered by OHIP
There are many services which are not covered by OHIP. For example, OHIP does not pay for services such as doctor's notes, TB skin testing (with few exceptions), Driver's Medicals and physiotherapy referrals. Please see the complete list of uninsured services and their associated fees.
